The storms rolled away early in the evening, and the following night was clear and beautiful. I roused from my pleasant sleep with my four wives just before dawn, and I could see ominous clouds as dark shadows on the Western horizon.

Manu and Amu had returned North with Mie and Poln the previous day, and I could see that a breakfast of steamed clams and oysters was nearly ready despite the early hour. I cleaned myself in the surf as Nina readied our meal.

As dull light began to fight with the growing bank of clouds, I could see a small dark speck on the horizon and rushed out of the water, alerting everyone that a boat was within range. Hakee woke the others, and together, we ran through our now-routine tasks of protecting ourselves against the unknown. A half-hour later, we could see the vessel well enough to be fairly certain it was built like the one used by Kunomo and the Uhonamonans.

While the others stayed ready to head into the shelter of the inner island, Nina, Hakee, and I kept close watch, firearms in our hands.

It took another half hour to know for sure it was our expected visitors. The boat anchored some distance off shore and lowered the small landing craft over the side, three men sliding down to row it to shore. Nina and I met Kunomo a few dozen meters from the beach and helped them beach the craft before greeting the men warmly. Kunomo introduced Moku and Nukuho as the men with him.

As we settled around the fire, the breeze kicking up from the West, Kunomo told us that he was worried about the pattern of storms and arrived as soon as possible to bring Gale and Tok back to his village. He said that an elder who had a long history of reading the weather believed we were in for a hard rainy month or two, and travel might become difficult between the islands. He asked if the couple would go willingly, knowing it would not be easy to return for some time if the weather didn't hold.

Gale replied, translating for those of us who did not know the native's language, “of course. We planned to stay a few weeks, as needed of course.” Tok nodded his agreement.

Kunomo accepted their understanding.

I asked, “what about the raid?”

Through Gale, Kunomo replied, “we have two choices on timing: we go without delay or we wait out the rainy season.”

“What's the latest?” Nina asked.

Kunomo told us that three men from the village had kept a very careful eye on the island, noting that the arrival of supply boats and those drawing from the supplies was regular and predictable. They believed there were several tons of goods, including clothing, firearms, and both perishable and non-perishable foodstuffs. Kunomo insisted that the risk was worth taking, but he admitted that he would welcome any help we could give.

I was not surprised to hear Nina offer to go, and Hakee was right there with her. Nina's military training, though not extensive, would be a boon to the raid, and I trusted her instincts the same way I trusted Tok's.

I was still torn, having not spoken about going on the expedition to anyone. Kunomo planned to stay the night and leave at first light with Gale and Tok and anyone else going on the raid. Bailey watched me carefully, and she knew me well enough that I doubt my thoughts were hidden from her.

Kunomo and his crew were tired from their journey and the weeks spent rebuilding, and we settled them in the early morning into the common house for a nap. The Uhonamonan teens took Gale's suggestion and went North to help Manu and Amu with the gardens. With the eight islanders gone to the North, and Kunomo and his two villagers napping, it left me with the eight other villagers and my daughter around the fire after breakfast.

“Let's talk about this raid,” I said, a bit hesitantly, “thoughts?”

Nina offered, “I'm in favor, and I want to go. I think I can help them.”

Hakee replied, “me as well. In favor, and I go.”

Gale said, “I'm on the fence, Kal. Risky, but might be worth it. We could really use a supplement to our food for the next few months, at least for nutrition sake. We have plenty of fish and such, but diversity would be really helpful, especially for Amy and Keekah.”

Tok spoke up. “I believe we must risk it. We're living in a world where supplies are difficult to come by. There might be medicine, or other things we need. We must take the chance, I think. Also, these are bad men, the ones who came here and took Kal. Hurting them can only help the world, and us.”

There was silence a moment, and I said, “Amy? Keekah? Any one? Thoughts?”

Amy shrugged, “I don't know what to think. I kinda agree with Tok, I guess.”

Keekah said quickly, “yes, I agree with Tok. We have babies soon. Might find things they need.”

It took another moment of silence, but Kate finally weighed in. “I'm against it. I've seen what these men can do. I've treated soldiers who fought them, seen the savagery they fight with. I don't want anyone to risk that, or for anyone to risk them coming here.”

Amy replied, “maybe if the raid is successful, they'll move their cache somewhere further from us. Maybe it will make it less likely they'll come here.”

Kate shrugged but didn't respond.

Bailey's eyes had been on me for several moments and I looked at her as she cradled Katie against her leaking breasts. I prompted her, “Bailey? Please, what is your view?”

She stared at me a moment longer, expressionless. “You plan to go, don't you Kal?” It wasn't an accusation, nor so much a question. Bailey was stating what she saw as a truth in order to clarify my role in the action. “I know you. You can't not be involved in something where others are at risk. It's not in your nature to stay behind.”

“Bailey--” I started.

“No, I understand.” She let out a sigh. “I'm not saying I like it, not saying I want you to go. I don't. But I... understand. On one hand, I'm for doing the raid. I agree with Tok and Amy. I think we have to do it... but... on the other hand... knowing you'll go makes me want to oppose it... I don't want you to get hurt, Kal. I don't want to lose you again...”

I didn't respond a moment. Finally, I swallowed the lump growing in my throat and said, “it's true that I've been thinking that, Bailey. I had not come to a conclusion about what I wanted to do. You're right, you do know me well. If I stayed behind while others were taking these risks... I cannot but feel like I'd go a bit crazy waiting...”

“And what do you think I'll be doing if you go, Kal?” Bailey's eyes were red. “Do you think I'll go any less crazy with you gone?”

“No... I suppose you would feel anxious and frightened for me, just like I'd feel for the others if I was here and they were taking the risks...”

The others were watching the interplay between me and Bailey, saying nothing. I knew that Amy and Keekah and Kate likely felt what Bailey felt, not wanting me to go. I didn't know what to do.

“Promise me something, Kal.” Bailey said in a quiet voice.

“Anything.”

“Promise me you'll come back. No matter what happens, whatever you do, you'll come back. If things get bad, you won't take a chance of not coming back. Please promise me. I can't lose you again... Please...”

“I promise that I'll do everything I can to come back, quickly, and that I'll bring everyone else back, as well. Whatever we do, we'll always have a plan to get away, to get back here. I promise, Bailey.” It was only while speaking those words, after hearing Bailey's implicit but hesitant permission, that I had decided to go. If she had forbid it, if Bailey had made just one more plea against me going, I don't think I could have gone against her will.

She nodded slowly, then looked down at Katie. “Then I'm in favor, and I think Kal should go. If anyone can make this raid successful, it is Kal.”

We talked a bit longer about some of the details, but the real heat of the discussion had been released with Bailey's concession. I admit to feeling an acute depression set in. I hated to do anything to upset Bailey, and though I still believed that I had to go on the raid, I didn't like that I'd gone against Bailey's wishes despite her reluctant approval. I held her hand the rest of the conversation, and she grasped my fingers like she was never going to let them go.

After chores and a quick lunch, the storm finally rushed through and pounded us with thunder and lightning and heavy wind-driven rain. Tok, Gale, and I helped Kunomo and his crew secure their boat by moving it to the East where it would be somewhat protected by the island. It was a rough ride as the surf kicked up, but we managed to get it anchored and then secured with a couple of thick ropes tied to thick trees on the edge of the East beach. We rushed back to camp soaked but unharmed.

Bailey met me as I took shelter under the overhang of our cabin. She said nothing as she wrapped her arms around me, and I held her a while as the wind whistled and swirled by us. Bailey whispered to me, “Kate's napping with Katie,” then she took my hand and quick-walked us to the hut Manu and Amu had been sharing with Mie and Poln. It was currently vacant with the four in the North as Bailey led me inside.

“Make love to me Kal.” I could see on her face the sadness, and I knew it was because I was going with Kunomo the next morning to take part in the raid. “I need you to be part of me right now...”

I hugged her again and gently swept my fingers across her face, kissing her skin lightly as it still dripped from the rain. I grabbed a large towel and carefully dried her body, then mine, then together we stretched out on the thin mattress, Bailey's soft moans music to my ears.

“I love you so much, Bailey... I love you so much...” I found myself talking to her softly as I caressed her milk-filled breasts, the thin, creamy liquid soon coating my fingers. I'm not sure if I believed she needed to hear the words, or if I just needed to say them, just in case. It was a powerful moment, as her hands stroked my face, her deep brown eyes searching mine as if she wanted to capture every detail.

My fingers found her pussy as her thighs parted, my young wife's vulva already slick with her arousal. “Uhnnn...” she sighed as I brushed her erect clit and slowly circled her nub as I gently planted kisses on her salty neck. “Uhnn... uhnn... ohh... uhnnn...” Of all the sounds in the world, Bailey's lovely moans would be the one I'd choose to hear forever. I couldn't stop touching her.

Bailey's hips began to move in small circles as I masturbated her. Before she reached release, she whispered, “I want you inside me...”

I moved over her body and the teen spread her legs further. Bailey's soft pubic hair parted and her swollen pussy opened like a ripe, reddish-pink flower. I almost dropped down to lick her there, but her arms pulled my shoulders to her and my penis soon found the entrance to her slick vagina. I pushed in and sank into heaven.

“Uhnnnnnnnn...” Bailey let our her breath in a long moan as I penetrated her cunt, her silky, velvety channel wet with arousal. I felt a burst of precum squirt out of my cock as I held against her, kissing Bailey's lips, rubbing my cheek against hers. The teen's arms wrapped around my neck, and for many minutes, we slowly rutted together, lost in the closeness and the passion.

Bailey's vagina began to clench, slowly at first, holding a few seconds, then releasing as I slid in and out, in and out. Her body tensed and her grip around my neck became tighter, her grip around my penis did the same. I began to strain as I made love to my young wife.

“Uhnn... uhnnn... oh, Kal... uhnnnnn... ohh...” Bailey's orgasm rolled in like an April rain shower, soft and gentle as it slowly rocked her body. I felt her grow wet, her slick discharge easing my movements in her pussy, her legs trembling as she climaxed. Her eyes were closed, her mouth open, her sighs and moans delicate, carefree. In and out, in and out, I drew closer and closer to my own release.

Bailey sensed that I was on the edge and opened her eyes, her thighs rising up to meet my strokes. She looked at me, her beautiful browns staring into soul. Bailey watched my face as I felt my semen rushing into her body. I didn't explode, nor did I seem to squirt my release. Instead, seed flowed out of me deliberately, not quite rushing, but still flooding Bailey in one long stream of thick cum. I filled her young vagina with all I had, and she moaned as her eyes penetrated my own.

It was amazing to ejaculate inside Bailey like that. It was smooth and unrushed, semen pooling against her cervix as we moved together, not slowing despite the way my cock grew sensitive. Bailey rocked with me and her tight vagina kept me hard despite the last drops of cum entering her body.

For an hour or more, we rutted together, changing positions easily, no hurry to cum again. We made love together like it was the most natural thing in the world. By the time I shot my third load into Bailey's wonderful, swollen vagina, she'd had at least four or five of her own. We were both sore, but neither of us wanted to separate.

Bailey fell asleep over me, my penis trapped inside her body long after she was dozing against me. I stroked her hair and whispered my love to her over and over before I, too, found rest.

- - -

I think we both had needed that moment together. Unlike when I was kidnapped and taken from the island, we knew I was leaving. We didn't talk further about the risks, the possibility that I might not come back, and with our shared lovemaking, we needed to be together physically and emotionally. My bond with Bailey was, in many ways, stronger than any others I'd formed. Not that I loved my other wives less, but Bailey and I had shared a great many struggles together since the cruise ship disaster. We grew close because we absolutely had to, but also because we found that we cared deeply for each other, that we wanted to be together no matter what.

The rest of the evening was spent mostly inside our shelters as the storm raged on. I gathered with Kunomo, Nina, Hakee, Gale, and Tok inside the common room and discussed the details of the raid.

Kunomo laid out his plan succinctly. We would leave at first light so long as the weather looked like we would avoid a morning storm. It was a two-day journey to Uhonamona, after which we'd spend the following day preparing for the raid which would be timed to hit the cache supply in the night three days later. Kunomo reminded me that the storm season might make it difficult for those of us from Phoenix to return quickly. At minimum, Nina, Hakee, and I would be away for almost two weeks.

Bailey's expression remained stoic, when I could see it from behind her, but I knew she was roiling inside. I cradled her between my legs and held my arms across her breasts as we talked, trying my best to not show my own nerves as the prospect of being gone so many days from the island.

Kunomo's plan was simple. The travel time to the supply island was three days from Uhonamona. We'd take three boats, two of them larger than the one they used to travel to and from Phoenix, with a total crew of fifteen, including me, Nina, and Hakee. Kunomo told us they expected a window of approximately eighteen hours before the enemy boats would appear based on weeks of observations, but he wanted us to spend no more than three on dry ground. We'd pack the hulls with as much as we could retrieve, then set off immediately in the darkness to be well away from the island before dawn. While we packed one boat, the other two would position North and South a mile or so off shore to provide lookouts.

His plan seemed sound. The biggest risk centered on the predictability of the coming and going of the supply boats. While the schedule had been largely regular, there had been three arrivals which did not fit into the normal pattern. Those had all taken place in the early evening, so Kunomo felt that we were not risking much by going in the middle of the night.

By the time we broke for dinner, a mixture of dried beans, fish, and purple nuts, my stomach was flipping with nerves. I was second-guessing my decision to go, at least somewhat. I felt guilty for leaving Bailey, for risking my life while she waited behind. I knew how hard it would be for her to spend a couple of weeks worried about me, wondering if she would ever see me again. I knew I'd be wondering the same things.

The storm petered out not long after supper, and we all retired early so that we might get a jump on the trip the following day. I curled around Bailey, Kate behind me, Amy and Keekah nearby. Bailey cradled Katie in front of her so that I might spend the night as close as possible to those I loved most.
